Independent progressive metal project, Darkest of Winter, is set to release the highly anticipated follow-up to 2025’s The Composer: Chapter I, a new two track EP titled The Composer: Chapter II. Picking up where its predecessor left off, this new chapter reveals the temptation and consequences of the composers actions.

Wings Unfolding

Darkest of Winter, born from the mind of Jerome Zamostny, has carefully crafted its unique blend of bleak, haunting soundscapes with progressive rock and metal elements. On The Composer: Chapter II, Jerome continues to push beyond traditional genre boundaries leaving fans guessing what lurks around the next corner.

The Story Continues

“This EP is more than just another collection of dark songs; it furthers the chilling story of an old man who is desperate to return to his former glory - at any cost,” notes Jerome. “Where Chapter I introduced us to the main character, Chapter II explores the moment where he is offered a path to his fame; a chance to cement his legacy. As with every deal, there is a cost.”

About
